ANNOUNCEMENT: TALES OF TERROR IS OFFICIALLY NOT-FOR-PROFIT. 501(c3) Status Pending.

 

After building our haunt from the ground up, we’re proud to officially announce that Tales of Terror is now operating under A.S.H. Collective, Inc. A not-for-profit organization committed to community, creativity & accessible education. 

 

This has always been about more than scares. Ashley, Devon, & Unique originally started Tales of Terror as a home haunt on a whim in December 2020, with very little experience. We supported places like the C.A.R.E Foundation & Baby DJ while creating an environment for people who want to be creative, learn, & scare folks. Over time, our haunt became a haven for outcasts, artists, students, and horror lovers alike. We have made epic memories, hit road blocks, made mistakes, and learned so much. This year, we have taken the time to regroup, refocus, and bring us back into our original mission: Community, arts, & helping people. 

 

-What’s Changing in 2025 & Beyond:

•Although we have always run as not for profit, we are legitimizing it and restructuring to a mission-driven one. This means:

• Ethical volunteerism with transparency, respect, and perks. What we make & where it goes will be public record. 

• Free, open to the public, workshops in FX, acting, scenic design, digital design, & more. These workshops will be hosted throughout Central FL & be all ages. 

• Opportunities for students and adults to earn volunteer hours, gain job skills, and join creative projects.

• Off-season paid opportunities, money-making programs that benefit you and your charity of choice. 

• Markets and events supporting local communities. 

• A deeper focus on mental health, accessibility, and community service.

 

What Does This Mean for You?

We’ll still bring you immersive, haunted experiences. But now, your ticket helps fund education, local talent, and hands-on opportunities for those who need them most.
